Xilica and Yamaha Unified Communications have announced a solutions partnership designed to simplify the installation and deployment of ceiling audio systems in medium and large collaboration spaces. The joint solution seamlessly integrates Xilica’s processors, speakers, and control with Yamaha’s ADECIA RM-CG ceiling-mounted microphone array.
Now, resellers can effortlessly deploy Yamaha’s ADECIA RM-CG system in larger rooms, thanks to pre-built integration with Xilica’s DSP products. This eliminates the need for complex coding. Looking ahead, Xilica plans to enhance its Follow Me feature for voice-triggered PTZ camera control.
Supported functionalities within the Xilica software include online/offline status, LED control, channel level metering, and beam angle monitoring for the Yamaha ADECIA RM-CG.
Xilica and Yamaha’s system solution incorporates the Xilica Solaro QR1-UC DSP, Sonia ceiling audio solution, and Yamaha ADECIA RM-CG microphone array, all conveniently available at DataVisual Marketing in Canada.
Shaun Robinson, VP Product at Xilica, and Michelle Baeza, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Yamaha Unified Communications, are both enthusiastic about the collaboration, which promises enhanced flexibility and functionality for collaborative spaces.
