Afterglow Lighting, a Baltimore-based rental company, is the first on the U.S. East Coast to acquire GLP's JDC2 IP hybrid fixture, known for its powerful strobe and programmable video effects.
This strengthens GLP's presence across the U.S. and continues Afterglow's long-standing partnership with the German manufacturer. Founder Matt Stephens was impressed by the JDC2's advanced features, including increased output, integrated beam technology, and DigiFX engine.
As a growing company, Afterglow plans to expand its JDC2 IP inventory and showcase it to clients, especially in EDM and church markets. Stephens also credits large-scale productions like Taylor Swift’s tours for raising industry standards and driving demand for cutting-edge technology.
